Bernice Lee

Bernice Lee is a founding director of Graceworks. Upon graduation from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979, Bernice worked as a political researcher with the Ministry of Defence before launching into the publishing industry in 1981. In the years since, she has worked as writer, editor, editorial manager and publishing director. The years 1991–2005 were spent managing the publishing programme for Armour Publishing Pte Ltd, a local Christian publishing company which she co-founded. Utterly committed to the ministry of spiritual friendship as modeled by the early church, Bernice continues to indulge in the joys of providing hospitality (and meals) in the hope of entertaining angels unawares.

    Twelve Strands

Twelve Strands pulls together the writing journeys of 12 Asian authors from countries as diverse as South Korea and Pakistan. Some write poetry and songs, while others write children’s books. Some are able to share the deepest pains and highest joys of those whose testimonies they give voice to. All feel an almost compulsive need to write so that the knowledge of the love of Christ can reach the farthest corners of their country, if not the world. They share a calling.
