What is an eBook?

An eBook is a digital version of a traditional print book. You can download and read e-books on a variety of electronic devices, including computers, tablets, e-readers and mobile devices.

How are Gracework's eBooks formatted and where can I find them?

Our eBooks are available on our online store, Amazon Kindle, Kobo and on the iBooks Store.

Graceworks eBooks bought from our online store are formatted as EPUB files. EPUB files are the most popular open book format and can be read on most computers, tablets, e-readers and mobile devices.

eBook’s purchased on Kindle can only be read on Kindle devices and the Kindle App (available on iOS, Andriod, Mac & PC).

Those purchased on Kobo can only be read on the Kobo Reading App (available on iOs, Andriod, Balckberry, Windows and Desktop).

For Apple’s iBooks, it can be read with the iBooks App. However, the iBooks Store is only available in some regions, which does not include Singapore.

How do I download eBooks purchased from Graceworks' store?

Once payment is confirmed, an email with a download link will be sent to the email address you provided. Open the email and click on the download link to download you eBook EPUB file. 

We recommend that you download your eBook to your personal computer first and then upload it to your other devices.

How many times can I download my eBook?

The link to download your eBook will be active for 72 hours after purchase. You may download the eBook as many times as you want and on to as many devices as you would like during the 72 hours.

Please only download it on devices that belong to you and do not share the link or files with others. 

Once your download link expires, you will no longer be able to download your eBook. 

We recommed that you download the eBook to your personal computer first and back up the file. You will then be able to sync the file to your e-reader or other device.

How to use Graceworks’ store eBook files

Personal Computer (Windows / Mac)
EPUB files are compatible with most devices.

You will need e-reading software such as Adobe Digital Editions, available for free here. Or you can download the Kobo Reading App for your PC and copy the EPUB file to the eReader.

For Mac users, you can also use iBooks to open EPUB files.

Apple Devices

iPhone

If you download the EPUB file to your iPhone, you will need the EPUB Reader App from iTunes to read it. Available here.

Apple Device

  1. Download the EPUB file to your computer.
  2. Connect your Apple device to your computer; iTunes should open automatically. Otherwise, launch iTunes, or download it here.
  3. Add your eBook to your iTunes library by simply dragging the eBook file to the Books library in iTunes.
  4. In iTunes, click “File,” then “Sync iPad/iPod/iPhone” to transfer the eBook to your Apple device.
  5. To start reading, open the iBooks application on your Apple device and click on your eBook. Alternatively, you can also use the Kindle App to open the eBook.

Android Devices
  1. If you do not already have one, head to the Play Store and download an EPUB reader. Feel free to download multiple Apps to decide which you prefer.
  2. Download the EPUB file to your device.
  3. Open the EPUB reader App.
  4. There should be a button such as “Download” or “Import”. From there, locate the Download folder (or the folder in which you downloaded the EPUB file into) and the App will open the eBook.

*Some of these instructions may vary slightly according to your device and the downloaded App.

Can I return my eBook?

Sorry, we don’t offer refunds for eBooks once they have been purchased.

Are your books DRM protected?

DRM or Digital Rights Management is a sort of virtual lock for digital products that requires the user to have a unique key and/or program to open or access the product.

eBooks sold on our online store are not DRM protected for easier access. Those sold on Amazon Kindle, iBooks and Kobo are protected by DRM.

Please note that reselling, uploading to the internet or any other means of digital distribution and sharing is prohibited by copyright laws, regardless of whether the book is DRM protected or not.

We’d appreciate your help in this matter. Please only download eBooks you have purchased to your devices and do not share them with others. Thank you!

  1. Download the EPUB file to your computer.
  2. Connect the Samsung tablet to your computer and click “Open device to view files.”

For eBook application:

  • On your computer, open the folder “Tablet,” then “ebook,” then “Import.”
  • Copy your e-book from your computer to the “Import” folder.
  • On your tablet, open the e-book application.
  • Click “Import,” then “ebook,” and select your e-book.
  • To read your eBook, open the “ebook” application and select it from the bookshelf.

For Play Books application:

  • On your computer, open the folder “Tablet,” then “Documents.”
  • Copy your eBook from your computer to the “Documents” folder.
  • On your tablet, open “My Files,” then “Documents.”
  • Click on the title of your eBook and select the application “Play Books” to open the eBook.
